Offering a garden and mountain view, Finca La Playa Ecohotel - Experiencia Campestre - is set in Salento, 49 km from Ukumari Zoo and 38 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden. The lady who runs the Finca, Doris, defines good hospitality. Staying here was by far our favourite in Colombia. The “suite” has an epic panoramic view of the valley with Salento across. One morning we rode her horses up to the ridge and across the other side to a waterfall, which was fantastic. The food was humble, and felt like home. Always hot coffee, and tea. Doris always helped arrange transport to wherever we needed to go. Really, there is too much to say. We stayed here before doing a 4 day volcano hike but got bad altitude sickness and had to come back after 1 night. Doris welcomed us back with a hug, and a fantastic hot ginger drink so we felt better. There are cute dogs, a cat and even a parrot on property. Every morning and evening you watch the humming birds feed. At night there is only the sound of crickets and farm animals, it’s great. If you’ve read this far into the review, book it, you will not regret it.

This place was great it is the perfect glamping experience. Great views, beautiful animals everywhere. We enjoyed the food, the staff was very friendly overall it was excellent for the price.

A cheap place to stay near the airport (7 min drive). Convenient for a short night before a flight.

This is quite a lovely place in the middle of the jungle operated by two lovely older persons which turn on/off the jacuzzi and prepare excellent breakfast as well as dinner. In addition, the owner is really helpful organising transfers to the airport or to the close by Vale de Cocora. If I would go to Salento, I would definitely book this place again, 10/10!

The hospitality at Cantaros was above all our expectations. Rare beauty, excellent food, and a calm and perfect atmosphere. On the last day of our stay we didn't feel well at all and the hosts took care of every little detail for us, including driving, calling and talking to everyone needed. Accommodation at the highest level.

The stay was the best stay I’ve ever had. The house was beautiful and the view even better. The host was friendly and we had a delicious breakfast. 10/10 experience

Situated in Salento, 38 km from Quimbaya, Ecofinca Salento features a shared lounge and free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available each morning at the camping. this is a family run little bed and breakfast. the location IS PERFECT. it’s very close to town center yet on the outskirts to avoid the crowds. it is the cutest little farm with an amazing view and lovely sitting area. the woman who runs the place cooks you a light breakfast each morning and is very sweet, as well as her husband and son. the glamping tents are just right, large tents, and very comfortable and well equipped. she keeps very on top of cleaning the bathrooms and laundry. this was my favorite place I’ve stayed so far. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
