Situated in Taivalkoski in the North Ostrobothnia region, Kolmiloukon leirintäalue features accommodation with free private parking. The only purpose was to find a cheap place to sleep over and Kolmiloukko definitely offered that. Cottage was surprisingly well-stocked for minuscule size and bed was comfortable.

Located in Hiidenniemi, Marjoniemi Camping features barbecue facilities and shared lounge. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a bar. The staff was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the camp ground was!

A recently renovated campground situated in Syöte, wilderness hut without electricity features a terrace. Boasting a tour desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.

Suomela Camping features a garden and a tennis court in Kärsämäki. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very cool camping next to the main road to 'the north'. Perfect for a night stop. Very easy to check in even if arriving late when reception is closed. Only 2 showers which is not enough if camping is full but that was not the issue for us as only few guests where there. Showers, toilets, kitchen, loundry in place, everything very clean. Even grill house ready to use. No issues with the noise from the main road. Lady at the reception very nice and helpful.
