The staff were incredibly friendly and the value from this place was fantastic. We were down for the cricket and it was an ideal place just to get freshened up (the shower was surprisingly good). The beds were not terrible and the booking was 1/4 of the price compared to the cheapest chain hotel for the same dates. The first stick in the TV was a welcome surprise. Not sure if it was meant to be there or if someone had just left it, either way it was a nice touch.

Nice little apartment, with everything you could need for a short trip, including cooking facilities, a fridge, a kettle, tea/coffee, a table to sit at. It was spotlessly clean. The key pick up was very straightforward + the host was very communicative over text. Lots of shops + places to eat within a 5 minute walk. Much better option that a budget hotel and cheaper too!

I had a very warm and friendly welcome at this quirky B&B. A fridge in the room was a bonus, tv had Sky etc and tea, pod/instant coffee, (+ mineral water) was available in the room. My little Cavalier was also made very welcome and a mat provided to put her bed on. I slept very well after a long drive. The house was quiet, thankfully. Parking on the drive was very convenient. If I travel to the north of England again I would certainly stay at this B&B
