This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

We had a fantastic stay here after our visit to Tayrona park. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable with AC and nice beds, meaning you get a very good night rest. A nice plus is that you do not have noise from the busy road between Tayrona and Santa Marta, often the case at other venues. The garden, with lovely outside kitchen, fruit trees and an excuisite pool is perfect to relax. However, the main reason that I would recommend this Finca, is the exceptionally friendly host, welcoming us, helping us out with diner and logistics and sharing some stories. I would advise this finca over booking an alternative in Santa Marta.
