We traveled in mid december and were mesmerized by the snow covered landscape all around. The traditional wooden house is very aesthetically designed, has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric sauna inside the bathroom. One is treated to stunning views right from the windows. The location is quite central (all essential facilities like the gas station, grocery store, restaurants etc. are within 2mins of driving distance) yet perfectly peaceful and quiet. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and were lucky to see the northern lights from the apartment itself.

Our two-week stay in Kilpisjärvi was nothing short of magical. This cabin exceeded expectations with breathtaking views, frequent Northern Lights displays, and a cozy interior. The cabin was big and spacious and very beautiful. It was clean and the location was perfect. We went on an ice fishing trip but we noticed we needed some tools to fix our equipment. We found all the tools we needed from the cabin which was just perfect. Jon was very fast to answer all the questions we had. Shortly put the cabin was perfect and the value really really good. I would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed the villa as it offered everything we may have needed. Had a lot of space and storage for us and our things. Kitchen was well equipped, parking right outside the door, very quiet and calm area. Close enough to walk to the store, walking tracks ec, (even though car might be to recomend) It's a code for the door which makes arrival extremely easy as you don't need a set time. I would book again if I find myself in Kilpisjärvi again.
