Lovely design and very comfortable. We were in a Stables room. Took 'The Spirit of the Outback' overnight train from Brisbane with my husband and 11 year old and after 26 hours we could have kept going. Too hot to go to Uluru and this was a great alternative to see a bit of the Outback. Saltbush Retreat was a very welcome oasis in the extreme heat (well, extreme for me :-) Picked this hotel for its location (across street from the 2 museums and airport) and for the outdoor bathtubs but the museums were closed for the holidays and I never got in the bathtub so what I really remember is a huge clean cool room and absolutely fantastic staff. Ron gave us a little drive around tour of town as the museums were closed and a lovely lady dropped us at the airport. Monica is the local taxi lady. AUD$15 to get from town back to Saltbush.

Turtle Sands er staðsett 400 metra frá Mon Repos og býður upp á útisundlaug, garð og loftkæld gistirými með svölum og ókeypis WiFi. The location and studio were fabulous. Have already been back a couple of times.

Wild Nature Lodge, Mareeba Wetlands býður upp á fjallaútsýni og gistirými með garði og svölum, í um 48 km fjarlægð frá Curtain Fig-þjóðgarðinum. This location is the most gorgeous place we stayed in Australia so far. The scenery is great and there is lots of chances to spot cool animals, including some Kangaroos who were in front of our tent :) We had the place all to ourselves which was unbelievable and felt really special to be in such a gorgeous spot all alone. Would definitely recommend this and if you are not a camping type of person don’t worry, it is luxerious beds with all facilities in place :)

Maiala Park Lodge í Mount Glorious býður upp á sjávarútsýni, gistirými, útisundlaug sem er opin hluta af árinu, garð, sameiginlega setustofu, tennisvöll og grillaðstöðu. Beautiful location on the edge of the rainforest, lots of birds and very peaceful. Close to lots of nice hikes and walks. Our son enjoyed playing on the trampoline and tennis court.

Heaven in the Hills Retreat er staðsett 30 km frá Australia Zoo og býður upp á útisundlaug, garð og loftkæld gistirými með svölum og ókeypis WiFi. The peaceful bush setting. The bed, and pillows were very comfortable. There was everything that I needed for my short stay. . Breakfast muesli and good plunger coffee.

Gististaðurinn er 10 km frá Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World, 44 km frá Big Pineapple og 33 km frá Kondalilla Falls, The Ridge at Maleny býður upp á gistirými í Maleny. Amazing views and exceptionally clean.

Mist at Cape Tribulation er staðsett í Cape Tribulation og Myall-strönd er í innan við 2,2 km fjarlægð. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi, grillaðstöðu, garði og ókeypis einkabílastæði. This is a gem in the most convenient location in Cape Tribulation (a mere 3 minute drive to where the meeting spot for the Great Barrier Reef snorkeling tour was). The apartment couldn’t have been cleaner, it was spacious, it was stocked with all you need to stay in and cook or just have a coffee or two before heading out for the day. The woman who runs this place is lovely, and takes such pride in the business she runs. I would recommend this place to any person coming to Cape Tribulation!

Beautiful and clean and modern design inside. Short walk to everything and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Differently stay there again.
