The experience starts with a reasonable hike, for which you can hire a Llama to carry your luggage’s, and is rewarded with the amazing view at the lodge. Rooms are superb, well equipped, spacious, and the view, again, from the bed, is incredible. Breakfast was also fantastic ! In the main house, still with the view.

We loved this place. Room was big and comfortable. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful view of the lake. Staff were very helpful. For a little extra fee they brought our bags down to the port so we did not have to come back to pick them up. Nice breakfast in the room. Location is great, not far from the temple of sun and all the restaurants.

The whole island is a vibe and we had the luck to spend the night in this amazing accommodation facing the lake. The owner is lovely and very kind. Breakfast is served in a room with lake view and is really good :) the whole experience was amazing!! One little thing.. Don't expect to have boiling water for your shower though, you are on a island managed by locals and they do their best to make you live your dream experience :)

Oscar was so nice to us. He made us a great meal. The trout was fantastic. In the morning also we got a great breakfast. He treated us as kings. The view was also fantastic. Please ask Oscar to organize the mulls for your coffins. It is quite a walk to all the hotels. Utasawa is quit near compared to other hotels.
