Lovely location overlooking its own waterholes and a steady movement of game animals in/out which made for remarkable sights. Excellent game drives with very knowledgeable drivers. All round a great experience!

The hotel just finished a big part of the renovations so it looks new and modern yet still retaining their African charm. The bar n restaurants were great and the safari tours led by their own team were amazing.

I like everything about it, as the location is convenient to a small shopping center that has a bank, Nando's Restaurant, grocery store, and gas station just outside the property. Our villa has a view of the river, and the staff are attentive, courteous, and provided us excellent service.

Excellent value for our group of four people. We had a hired car and from the house had easy access to Chobe park gate for a drive and to the river for a boat cruise. For those without a vehicle the host is able to book excursions.

Muchenje Campsite and Cottages offers three self-catering units, each featuring an open-plan kitchenette that is equipped with an oven, toaster and refrigerator. Perfect location for visiting Chobe through the Ngama gate, which is much quieter than the Kasane side. The grounds are lovely and everything is well spaced for privacy. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner, Hayden, is super knowledgeable about travel, wildlife, etc. In the area and very generous with his time helping his customers plan visits to the park or onward travel.

The rooms at The Big 5 Chobe Lodge feature a bathroom with shower and all beds are draped with a mosquito net. From my first phone call to the property, handled by the lovely Tshidi, we were so impressed. She handled all our questions with so much patience. Such a gem.
