Pablo was the best host we’ve had in all our trip to Chile, and indeed certainly among the best we’ve ever had in our many travels. Great recommendations on what to see and where to go, excellent dinners, perfect service. It’s hard to imagine how a host could be better. The place itself has one of the best views of the lake, and the rooms, while small, are very comfortable and well-designed.

Hotel Patagonia House is 55 km from Balmaceda Airport. It provides an airport shuttle service, free parking, and, and transportation to Coyhaique´s centre, a 5-minute drive away. Ruth and her team are doing things right. It starts with the friendly staff (and perky rescue pets) at check-in. The rooms are impeccable. High-quality matress and bedding, beautiful wood materials, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower and excellent water pressure (not always a given in this part of the country). Large picture frame windows offering views of the surrounding scenery. The grounds are well kept with a focus on endemic species of trees and plants. We had dinner at their restaurant. Again, service with a smile and really good food. Breakfast was buffet style, with cooked-to-order eggs, a selection of pastries, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh baked bread, fruits, juices, etc. etc. We traveled around Chile for about a month, and this was hands down our favorite place.

Balmaceda Airport is 193 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. This was our Gem place for the whole trip duration! Such a beautiful place with a wonderful view 🥰 we have been lucky with weather and the colours were amazing. I enjoyed a lot the shower, I have found the shower water mostly coldish in many hotels in Chile. If you want to have a great stay, I really recommend this place.

The spacious chalet is fitted with 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and toaster, and a living room. Towels and bed linen are featured in the chalet. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. This property is EXCEPTIONAL!! The home itself is designed by a talented architect who created an absolutely beautiful home with spectacular views from every room. The living room features a HUGE WINDOW with a breathtaking view of Cerra Castillo mountain. The attention to detail is amazing. This gorgeous, well-appointed home included everything one needs to settle in comfortably yet is located close enough to venture out for a challenging (or easier!) hike nearby. Part of our group achieved their bucket list goal of climbing up to Laguna Cerra Mountain to the pool of fresh glacier water. The property is also surrounded by nature and open space. The bedding was luxe and the two ensuite bathrooms were ideal for our group. The upstairs also featured two twins which were a plus. I simply cannot rave enough about this PERFECT home that we hope to stay in again in the future. You won't be disappointed!! Ten+ stars all the way!!

Balmaceda Airport is 74 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful location surrounded by nature, views of valleys and mountains. The food was not exceptional but well prepared. The Lodge itself is well designed in the farmhouse country-side kind of style, huge windows, nice furniture, and it feels like a private retreat rather than a hotel. The manager was exceptional- he was at 5 different places at the same time, finding time to greet all guests, offer meals and services and attention.

There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The holiday home has family rooms. Loved our stay. Very comfortable and spacious and a great view of the river and mountains in background. Well equipped kitchen and a lovely fireplace with lots of wood supplied. Great Bbq and patio area. Highly recommended! Great communication from hosts.
