They greeted me with a coconut with a flower in it when I arrived and prepared coconuts for me often when I came back from a day. The room was right in front of the beach so I could go to sleep listening to the waves crash and watch the sunset from the hammock on my front porch. I was there during the low tourist season so it was very peaceful and quiet and this place is located between the two towns (about a 15 min walk to each town) so it was maybe the most peaceful place I’ve ever been. They also keep the grounds very clean, are very helpful with any questions, and Pengo is an excellent chef!

The house is really nice and all made in wood, they have 4 rooms, we had the one in front of the sea, there are construction but you can see very well the sea, it’s a nice view with terrace and hammocks ! Very well located in the middle of the village, which is super cute by the way ! The host Yefer is really kind, and helpful, you can book tours with him and also book the lancha to go back to nuqui as well :)

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

At the chalet complex, every unit comes with a wardrobe. Units include a coffee machine and a private bathroom, while selected rooms also boast a terrace and some have mountain views. Guests can enjoy a meal at an outdoor dining area at the chalet. Incredible place. Location could not be better, right at the most fantastic beach I have ever been at. Every evening we walked 20 meters to the beach to watch the most spectacular sunsets. Pedro and Diana, the owners, are incredibly nice and helpful. We didn't plan anything about our stay, we just asked them and they helped us organise everything. You can have home cooked breakfast for an extra 30k pesos, which is great value for money. It was very tasty and they would cook it in time for our activities every time. Could not recommend more!
