Nag-aalok ng mga tanawin ng bundok, ang Hortensias Chalets Vara blanca sa Heredia ay nag-aalok ng accommodation, hardin, terrace, restaurant, at bar. Very clean and cosy. Owner super sweet, enticing us with strawberries grown there and delicious food, very attentive and accommodating to all our requests. The chalets were thematic, each had a flower name and you had that glower planted in front of it, which we found very cute.

The remote location, the owner of the lodge (Pedro) and our guide on the bird watching walk at 6:00 in the morning. The food was really good! The deck of the lodge where we saw animals and birds was also great.

Offering an indoor pool and a restaurant, Peace Lodge is located a 1-hour drive from San Jose in Vara Blanca. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. Loved everything. That staff are amazing. The rooms were unbelievably amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The sanctuary was great! The waterfalls were a steep track during parts but well with it. Will definitely be back!!

Matatagpuan 6.2 km mula sa La Selva Biological Station, nag-aalok ang Río Sarapiquí Lodge ng hardin, at naka-air condition na accommodation na may balcony at libreng WiFi. Everything in this place is high end, beautiful and comfortable and you could see how every tiny detail is thought of. The place itself is located right on the river, quiet and beautiful with many little magical spots in the garden. The host was wonderful as well. Super friendly and welcoming. I had a zoom meeting on the check out time and she kindly let me stay until I was done. The wifi was strong and stable. This place was off the grid for us and we are extremely happy to have found it!

Mararating ang Catarata Tesoro Escondido sa 48 km, ang Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat ay nagtatampok ng accommodation, restaurant, hardin, shared lounge, at terrace. Our second eco stay in Costa Rica and so far the best. The location is amazing with the soothing rush of the river nearby which is also awesome for a swim on hot days. It's just far enough from the madding crowds to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to local sodas and markets and everything else. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful (Fernanda deserves a special mention) . The breakfast buffet is superb with local delicacies like spiced (seeds and real chillies) chorizo, rice and beans as well as fare for the less adventurous , with fresh juice, coffee etc. The one dinner we had was also great and an absolute bargain. The rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. There are common areas with coffee/tea/biscuits always available and a kitchen with fridge if you want to cook your own. To top it all off you can wander off into the surrounding reasonably marked trails to see howler monkeys, toucans, etc.
