Matatagpuan 19 km mula sa Piazza Duomo, ang Etna Rural Cottage with Jacuzzi ay naglalaan ng accommodation sa Pedara na may access sa hot tub. Amazing cottage on top of a small volcano. The host was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The cottage was equipped with everything needed — BBQ area, cutlery, towels, and more.

Matatagpuan sa Nicolosi sa rehiyon ng Sicily at maaabot ang Piazza Duomo sa loob ng 28 km, naglalaan ang Matilde's Chalet Etna Nature House ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, BBQ facilities,... This place is awesome. Full disclosure, you are WAY in there - like, on the hillside. The road getting in is super bumpy and hilly, so not for the faint of heart nor for a SmartCar I wouldn't think. We were in a midsize crossover and it struggled a bit. But once you're in, it's awesome. There are just a couple of buildings, with the amazing treehouse as advertised, and we stayed in the smaller, newer building which is basically on its own private property or section of the larger property. 2 bedrooms, one bath, not much else, really. A small table where you can grab a meal together, couch for 2 where the kids sat and decompressed (after their time in the treehouse) while we made one dinner onsite. Which I recommend if you want a glass of wine, because I was not willing to do the drive in - and all of the gates and locks - after a nice glass of Nero D'Avola. So bring provisions with you! We read, and took note of, that gem of advice from other reviewers and it's critical. But actually the supermarket in Nicolosi is awesome (IMPORTANT NOTE: you want to the Supermercati Deco at Via della Quercia, 24/A, 95030 Nicolosi because the other ones that maps suggest are all closed) and convenient, and so that's a quick and reasonably convenient option. But we hiked, toured the lava flows, kids had a blast in the tree house and on the grounds, and we did Mount Etna one day and Aci Castello (recommend!) another day. Great base camp, nice property and building and just what we wanted to do a couple of days of convening with nature. Fun with kids.

Matatagpuan sa Santa Teresa di Riva, nag-aalok ang Villa dei Marchesi Carrozza ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, hardin na may seasonal na outdoor pool, at mga tanawin ng hardin. We originally booked 2 nights, but decided to take an extra night. Villa itself is very authentic, you can feel the history surrounding you. HOST. Best thing is the host - Roberto, who is very genuine, warm, friendly and has good vibe aura. He gave very good recommendations about places to see around, booked a tour for us to Etna and gave best advice where to eat (Aloha Mare - amazing authentic sea food place). Roberto knows many people and can provide discounts for your tours, so don't be afraid to ask him for recommendations! BREAKFAST. We were surprised to receive non traditional breakfast - no scrambled eggs or pies as it is kind of common in Italy. Instead we got two plates of various meat, cheese and sweets. It was amazing to have regional goods and taste journey for breakfast, especially with fresh red orange juice. ROOMS. Though villa has authentic beds, chairs, paintings it has modern necessities as AC, good mattress. Everything was clean and tidy. Old doors do not give good noise cancelations, but replacing them with something new, probably would ruin the authenticity. You may feel as marquize yourself, when you relax in historic room. During our stay we had a small problem with electricity, due to rail works, circuit safety switches kept poping out, but Roberto would efficiently come back to villa in 10min to turn them on. After couple times, I asked whether I could turn them back instead of him going back and forth to villa. He let me in to private quarter and showed me where to turn on the switches. It is just another example of trustworthiness of the host. If we ever return to the east cost of Sicily, we will definitely come back to villa. Grazie mille Roberto, you are a true host! P.S. there are small turtles on the property, take few strawberries from breakfast and feed them, they are very cute!

Nagtatampok ng mga tanawin ng hardin, nag-aalok ang Case Monte Arso -Etna sud est- ng accommodation na may balcony at 24 km mula sa Piazza Duomo. The house has an amazing view and is very well equipped. We absolutely loved the sauna! Our hosts, Domenico and Alessandra were very welcoming and made our stay very special. Also the vicinity to hiking spots and the Etna summit were a great plus. Make sure to ask about the options to order wine and a tagliere for your stay. You won't regret it.

Nagtatampok ng mga tanawin ng hardin, nag-aalok ang Chalet Vista Etna ng accommodation na may terrace at coffee machine, at 49 km mula sa Taormina Cable Car – Upper Station. If You like a nature, pease and quitet this is an ideal place to stay. A fireplace inside. Laura the host is a wonderful person. She left delicious cookies from her factory for us and showed me amazing pistaccio tree growing from the stone. Great experience.

Mayroon ang Scorzamara Country Lodges ng mga tanawin ng hardin, libreng WiFi, at libreng private parking, na matatagpuan sa Villasmundo, 38 km mula sa Piazza Duomo. Very calm area to relax for a few days. Beautiful nature surrounding the lodges. The personal was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would return when coming back to Sicily.
