The hospitality was absolutely amazing, from activity recommendations to the little extras, we felt very welcome by everyone. We mixed eating out with cooking dinner in the room, enjoying sunsets on the deck. At night, the sky deck and outdoor bath also made for a perfect end to the evenings--talking, talking, talking while looking out at the ocean and the Milky Way.

Providing a garden, 星空に包まれる 森の隠れ家 Amrita Lodge ~stay & retreat~ is situated in the Kirishima-jingu Onsen district of Kirishima, 12 km from Ebino Plateau. We all really enjoyed the location of the property. Ideal for hiking. It was very well presented, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We had a great stay. Yui was really helpful. She was good to communicate with and made us very welcome. We all had a massage with her which was so so relaxing after a day on the mountain. We all wish we could have stayed longer .

Ideally located, 3 minute walk to bus station. Owner was very helpful and ordered breakfast and lunch packs for our Cedar trail hike to Jomon. The food packs were delivered to our door steps by 4:30 am to be ready for our all day hike.
