We had a motorbike so getting up the steep road was no problem. Room was very spacious and had lots of areas to chill inside and outside. The view was also spectacular and host was very friendly

The Mountain View rooms, with their full glass windows and private patio seating, offer breathtaking views and beautifully curated interiors. The serene, secluded setting, away from the main town and that was exactly what I was looking for, surrounded only by the soothing sounds of nature and birdsong. Wi-Fi is not available, which was perfectly fine for me, as it added to the peaceful, unplugged experience. The staff were incredibly courteous, prompt, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special mention to Mr. Inthizar, the owner and host, whose warmth, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality truly set this place apart. He went above and beyond, not only ensuring our stay was comfortable, but also helping with taxis, sharing local tips, and even guiding us during our trip after we had checked out. If I could, I’d give this place 11 out of 10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone seeking calm, scenic, and heartwarming hospitality away from city’s chaos.

The family was incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. Such wonderful, kind people. I’d highly recommend Tedro Homestay to anyone looking for a clean, cozy stay with the friendliest hosts!

An oven and microwave are also available, as well as a kettle. From the moment we arrived at the property, we felt welcomed and at home. With panoramic mountain and garden views from the terrace and spacious common areas, it’s a serene retreat only about a 15–20 minute walk from Kandy’s city center and major attractions. Our communication with the Punya was excellent and she helped as arrange scooter rental and catered to every need we had! One of the true highlights of our stay was Ravi, the most incredibly warm, kind-hearted, and attentive host—and an exceptional chef. From the moment we arrived, Ravi went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, treating us not just as guests, but as family! It’s rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into their work—Ravi truly is the soul of this villa! During our month-long journey across Sri Lanka, we stayed in many places—but No63 Amy’s Villa in Kandy was by far the best accommodation of them all! Can’t recommend it enough!!

Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

The air-conditioned chalet consists of 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a hair dryer, a seating area, and a living room. Towels and bed linen are provided in the chalet. The property has an outdoor dining area. The accommodation is special and beautifully set in a stunning natural environment. The staff were very kind and always willing to help, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. They really made us feel like at home. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty and generous, adding to a stay that we truly enjoyed. We are really happy with the accomodation and would recomend it 100%

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The hotel was excellent! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the service was truly wonderful. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the stay very enjoyable.

The villa is dreamy, with breathtaking peaceful surroundings, clean and the owners cannot do enough to make sure you have the best say. Firstly we were collected as our Uber driver got lost, then the owners organised dinner both evenings, took us to the elephant sanctuary and arranged a drive to our next destination. It was a trip we will never forget
