Lovely place, lovely staff, has everything you need. A little far from everything but a great getaway. we had scooters to move around so it was perfect. Owner was very helpful too. Would recommend.

Offering garden views, Doany Beach in Antafondro offers accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the property. Very welcoming staff and a lovely location. A special mention to Ornella who really looked after us. The lemurs come at sundown for bananas which is really special and was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The chef provides options based on what he has & cooks tasty dishes including fresh fish & prawns. The owner ( Jean Michel) was very helpful and arranged 3 days of Scuba diving for us as well as a trip to Lokobe to see the wildlife. I would recommend for a few days of peace & tranquility.

Thank you to Mina and the wonderful team for their quiet yet thoughtful care of travelers. We arrived exhausted from suffering from enteritis due to the Madagascar water and food, and we extend our deepest gratitude to Yvonne, the Nosy Be alchemist, who cured us in just one day with her magical tea and her medicine. This was not just a place to stay, but a truly special place where weary city travelers could heal their bodies and minds. Thank you, Yvonne! I will always remember this place and leave my heart here.

We had such a lovely stay at Tamarin Lodge. The location of the bungalows is fantastic, being walking distance to some local restaurants and the local market. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of how beautiful and lush the garden area is and if you’re lucky you’ll spot some lemurs in the trees above. Thank you for a lovely stay

We were the only ones as it was low season and they were super accommodating. It was very peaceful, just what we needed. The staff was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the views!!!! Simply wow. The only thing missing was a beach but everything else more than made up for it! They even managed to make a last minute cake for my birthday 🥹
