Boasting a garden and views of pool, The Diving Lodge Downtown is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Puerto Morelos, a few steps from Playa Puerto Morelos. The perfect Mexican cabins on the beach! The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed the short beautiful ten minute walk to town every evening for dinner. You can walk along the beach or down the street. It’s perfect while on vacation, especially after eating a great dinner. The best bar on the beach with the best and most attentive bartenders and staff. They are warm and create a welcoming enjoyment environment. There’s a restaurant, a pool, and option to get massages on site. The Greek restaurant had their re-opening after their remodel while we were there, and we had the opportunity to sample their food. It was good, nice to have the option. The bar also serves food.

The family who manages the facility are very friendly and kind. The communication and access was easy. Nicest part: you are really in the middle of the jungle!

Smáhýsið er með bæði WiFi og einkabílastæði án endurgjalds. - The man from the staff and the lady that cooked us breakfast in front of us were really sweet and helpful. - The cenote was an amazing bonus, the property provided free kayaks and we watched a beautiful sunset from them. - There was a fireplace outside and it was amazing to be around fire during our last night. - There were mosquito nets on all beds. - Available tap water outside the room. - They provide free entrance on Dos Ceibas beach, which is just a 10 minutes walk - The whole property was just amazing, from the room to the garden and there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

The host and Maria are incredible and very very helpful with tips and recommendations on hand :) Everything is so peaceful, calm and stunning it feels like time would go different there. We loved this place so very much, it was very special.
