Finca Ometepe er staðsett í Balgue í Ometepe-héraðinu og Maderas-eldfjallið er í innan við 13 km fjarlægð. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi, grillaðstöðu, garði og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Set in beautiful gardens and scenery but close to a small town with restaurants etc. loved the 2 cats too - so friendly and lovely to have a cuddle with. Rooms are a great size. Kitchen looked like its well equipped although we didn’t use it bar making some morning coffee.

Dragon's Garden er staðsett í Santa Cruz og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, garð, verönd og veitingastað. Eldfjallið Maderas er 6,3 km frá smáhýsinu. The location and price of Dragon's Garden is what I appreciated most. The cabins are eco friendly, there are dry toilets on the property, the showers are beautiful. All in all I think the price for what is provided is excellent. This and the staff is extremely friendly.

Finca del Sol Eco Lodge er Eco smáhýsi á lífrænum bóndabæ í Santa Cruz á Ometepe-svæðinu. Boðið er upp á verönd og fjallaútsýni. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. Amazing place. The cabins are very cute. There are only 3 cabins which makes it very special. Dont expect anything busy as it’s a very couple place. Most of butterflies around.

Totoco Eco-Project er staðsett í Balgue og býður upp á útisundlaug og veitingastað. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði á almenningssvæðum þessa smáhýsis. Bústaðirnir eru með viðarhúsgögn, moskítónet og viftu. I had a wonderful 3 night stay here whilst visiting Ometepe. The location is literally in the middle of the jungle but has in my opinion one of the best views of Ometepe island. It’s a bit out the way so you need a scooter or quad to get up and down to Balgue but I just organised two day tours and they picked me up directly and took me from there. The food is great and I ate there all three nights and the cocktails and drinks are brilliant. The staff were super helpful and accommodating and helped book me taxis from and to the ferry. Would highly recommend for a few nights in Ometepe.

The views, sounds of the jungle and the coffee were all amazing! And as an added bonus, you could wash your own laundry by hand.

We woke up very early for the volcano hike, and they prepared breakfast for us so we could eat before, that was really nice. The staff was very kind and attentive. The shower had hot water. The surroundings are nice, you eat in the morning surrounded by birds and flowers. The hike to Maderas starts at the entrance of the hotel, and the staff can help you to arrange a guide.
