After traveling extensively in both New Zealand and Australia, I can say honestly that this place is actually falling into the category of a hotel. The huge brand new tv screen, the heating blanket under the bedsheets, the spotless kitchen corner, the comfortable beds and the large bathroom were all features one usually finds at a hotel. The communication with the hosts was always prompt and all our requests were met without any problems. The cleanest property we have had in New Zealand. Would have loved to spend longer time at this place. Very easy check-in process. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. My whole family loved the place.

Furneaux Lodge is located in Endeavor Inlet and has a garden and shared lounge. This resort offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. The property features a restaurant.

Yvonne is the sweetest person who goes above and beyond! She gave us good recommendations about surroundings and sent us back the airpod we forgot at her place! The unit was big and perfect for our family of 4! We had dinner at the patio every night. They have washing machine and dryer which came very handy while we are on roadtrip

We loved everything about this place. The couple that own it are amazing, friendly people who went out of their way to make sure that we were all set. The rooms are big, very clean (as was the entire property) and nicely decorated. The beds and linens were great. This place exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again in a minute.

It is remarkably cozy and well laid out. My wife goes to bed early but I was able to watch tv in the living room without disturbing her. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The owners were kind and helpful without being an imposition. Good location if you have a car.

Everything at this hotel is great.Location, rooms facilities and staff. Had a great evening meal at the Indian restaurant near the river (ragpu) as recommended by Jude. Directly opposite a lovely park and it’s so quiet.
