I was told that staying in a motel was an important part of the New Zealand travel experience and I'm so happy that I chose to stay in what definitely deserves to be rated as the best motel in NZ. Everything about the place was just perfect, from the incredibly friendly reception and helpful tips and recommendations to the beautiful, spotless room with every thing you could ever want or need. I actually was quite taken back by how well equipped the kitchen was with everything that one could ever want. Thank you for all of your kindness and a really lovely comfortable stay. Cedar Grove Motor Lodge offers modern accommodation in the centre of Nelson. Rooms at Cedar Grove feature flat-screen TV’s with satellite channels. Guests can enjoy free unlimited WiFi and there is free on-site parking for cars. Nice stay for my one night. Everything was very nice. Large clean unit. Good location..walkable to everything in the center. Nicely managed by the owners on site. Highly recommend.

Certainly one of the best we have ever visited over the years.
