From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.

The location is remote and thus very quiet. The owner is a great guy and was always able to help with tour recommendations, and transport to the city as well as to and from the ferry. Breakfast was also delicious and their wifi was probably the best on the island.
