We had a wonderful time at Solhem. Cozy with old wooden floors, beautiful details and two fireplaces. It really had everything we wanted and the beds were comfortable! The house is located in a residential area without major roads. It was a huge garden. We also liked that there were a new induction hob, stove, fridge and freezer in the kitchen even though it was an old charming interior. There was fast wi-fi and the tv was new, and there was chromecast so we could watch our usual channels. For us who live in an apartment in the city, it is absolutely wonderful to stay in such a charming house and have the large garden. The little beach by the lake was really beautiful and calm and the kids can go there by themselves this summer when we get back.

Delightful area and setting, residence was typical for the surroundings. Good hosts that were always prepared to help if needed. We shall have no hesitation on going there again.

It lived up to expectations and above. Cooking space was limited but all facilities and who wants to cook a three course meal on holiday! The section of garden for use by the studio is pretty, set within a well manicured, interesting garden. The owner was helpful, friendly but unobtrusive. The island is beautiful. We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay
