The quiet isolation was what we needed in the middle of our 25-day trip. We saw deer regularly. It was nice to look out and see the forest with no expectations of being required to do anything. The bed was comfortable and there was a washing machine. I was surprised at how big the accommodations were.

We had a wonderful time at Solhem. Cozy with old wooden floors, beautiful details and two fireplaces. It really had everything we wanted and the beds were comfortable! The house is located in a residential area without major roads. It was a huge garden. We also liked that there were a new induction hob, stove, fridge and freezer in the kitchen even though it was an old charming interior. There was fast wi-fi and the tv was new, and there was chromecast so we could watch our usual channels. For us who live in an apartment in the city, it is absolutely wonderful to stay in such a charming house and have the large garden. The little beach by the lake was really beautiful and calm and the kids can go there by themselves this summer when we get back.

The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well taken care of. This is a rare find, where the owners seem to take genuine pleasure in making the property and experience exceptional. The property is next to ancient stone moments and nature trails.

Delightful area and setting, residence was typical for the surroundings. Good hosts that were always prepared to help if needed. We shall have no hesitation on going there again.
