With Paje Beach reachable in a few steps, Ananda Beach Hotel provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a private beach area. Everything was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel nicely decorated, generally great food at the restaurant, friendly and most important professional people working and managing the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and fully recommend the hotel.

Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

If there has 6 star avaliable. I will give to it. The pool its being clean every morning. kitchen its open for use and the roof patio its lovely to relax, either for read or do yoga. The decoration of room its very modern and funished. Love the mattress and pillow. Able to get well relax at night. There has small beautiful garden at the Lodge to walk around. They have the knowledable taxi driver and we felt very fortune to be able to do tour with him. The Lodge its close to the beach, and easy access to shop and restaurant. Safe to walk around in the night. Thomas its lovely host. He solve problem efficently. Organize everything and pentient. Thanks him give us many places to visit and the delicious resturants. I definitly will go back again if I am in Zazibar again. Highly recommand it.

This little chalet is so adorable and the perfect spot for a stay in Kizimkazi. It’s like a jungle paradise. Our host was so helpful too (anything you need she can help you organise) and we loved the breakfast.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Demani Lodge Backpackers Zanzibar is located in Paje. WiFi access is available. You can enjoy garden view from the room. The place was very peaceful, breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice. Highly recommend it.

The location is amazing, the bed is more then comfortable, the outside are is so great to relax that I almost settled roots, and the stuff is so friendly and nice, that it feels like a little second family 😊

Come for immediate access to the Jozani nature reserve, stay for the amazing local cuisine! Biosphere is the perfect name, as we enjoyed the neat lizards, the monkeys playing in the courtyard, and birds visiting. We loved the breakfast and asked for a new local dish each night - the best was the “Swahili corner” for 2. The theme to this place was “pole pole” or “gentle/careful/slow”. We learned to plan around things taking a little time, which is great - we are on vacation. It is simple and staff are friendly, with a low price to match the rural setting ;) Be aware: The hotel is adjacent to the national park but does not include the entry ticket. You must go to the park reception and get an entry ticket/trail guide. The trails are incredibly confusing so this is a good rule!
