With Paje Beach reachable in a few steps, Ananda Beach Hotel provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a private beach area. Staff were very friendly and went out their way to assist. Rooms were comfortable and location excellent. Food was very enjoyable.

After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar. This boutique resort is a must visit for anyone traveling to Zanzibar. The rooms are perfect for any couple visiting, with private water closet, rain head showers that are roomy and spacious. Beds are comfortable with mosquito netting; the staff offers mosquito spraying and turndown service every night. There are TVs and small refrigerators in the rooms, with fresh water provided daily for guests. We have a partial ocean view which features a small dip pool/tub, private chairs for sunbathing as well as chairs on the small patio. By all means, upgrade to the partial ocean view - it’s worth it. There is also a large infinity pool for guests to use if you do not want to upgrade to private settings. Our visit included the full all-inclusive package, which was an added cost, but was well worth it. All non-alcoholic, waters, coffees, and as well the alcoholic drinks and meals are included with the package, try the sangria!! I must also add, compliments to the chef, the meals were always delicious. Breakfast and lunch are a permanent menu, while the dinner menu is a rotating menu and changes nightly keeping the palette entertained. Some nights featured live music during dinner as well. Finally, the staff was amazing, from conversation to providing the best service, organizing excursions and taxis, kudos to this whole boutique resort. We will be back one day!

Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

MONKEY MOUNTAIN LODGE er staðsett í Mtende og býður upp á sjávarútsýni, veitingastað, farangursgeymslu, bar, garð og verönd. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði. Excellent staff and owner. Very sweet. Excellent service. Excellent views from restaurant/bar and rooms. Only two minute drive to the beach. Food was great too.

If there has 6 star avaliable. I will give to it. The pool its being clean every morning. kitchen its open for use and the roof patio its lovely to relax, either for read or do yoga. The decoration of room its very modern and funished. Love the mattress and pillow. Able to get well relax at night. There has small beautiful garden at the Lodge to walk around. They have the knowledable taxi driver and we felt very fortune to be able to do tour with him. The Lodge its close to the beach, and easy access to shop and restaurant. Safe to walk around in the night. Thomas its lovely host. He solve problem efficently. Organize everything and pentient. Thanks him give us many places to visit and the delicious resturants. I definitly will go back again if I am in Zazibar again. Highly recommand it.
