The Hello Capitano restaurant had nice seating arrangements, with nice views of the beach. The sea facing room we got had a nice cushioned area where you could lie down and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the waves, which was extremely relaxing in the morning.

Strongly recommend Joyce and team for your holiday to Zanzibar, everyone made us feel right at home. The hotel was incredibly cozy and homely, with a traditional, beachy feel and beautiful garden and pool. There is lots of space to rest and relax with direct access to the beach. Dinner is served family style each evening - it was wonderful to get to know the other guests and the team was able to cater to our dietary restrictions. The hotel staff helped us organise several different activities and excursions on the island once we arrived, as well as airport transfers and drivers whenever needed. Communication was very smooth.

All common areas are aesthetically pleasing, serene, and designed for comfort. 3. Restaurant-Level Food & Outstanding Cocktails The food exceeded every expectation. Even with All-Inclusive, you’re not getting buffet-style meals—you’re dining à la carte, choosing dishes from a full menu, prepared fresh by the chef. The cocktails were equally impressive: balanced, creative, and delicious. 4. Incredible Staff & Service This is where the hotel truly shines. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. You can feel that both management and the team truly care about their guests—and that level of sincerity is rare and priceless. 5. A Five-Star Experience (Even if It Says Four) I’m honestly surprised this is rated as a four-star hotel. The service, design, food, and overall experience easily match a five-star level. I would return without hesitation. This place is truly special.

I stayed at Z Lodge Zanzibar with my wife. The room was so beautiful, I loved the flowers on the bed and the artwork on the wall; everything was lovely. The breakfasts were perfectly tropical and the restaurant itself had an amazing romantic vibe. Snack of our day was freshly made Banana chips with avocado dip- delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel.

The private plunge pool was a highlight—perfect for relaxing at any time of day while feeling completely immersed in the natural surroundings.

MONKEY MOUNTAIN LODGE se găsește în Mtende și oferă vedere la mare, un restaurant, depozit de bagaje, un bar, o grădină și o terasă. Such a relaxing enviroment and amazing views! It was lovely to watch the sunrise from your own terrace and the sunset at the restaurant while enjoying a great meal. The atmosphere at the lodge felt authentic and very cozy. The staff was kind and especially Suzy was great thanks to her good english and warm personality. This lodge is definitely unique and really stands out from typical resorts! A big recommendation by two people who have seen a lot of accommodations from all around the world.

I will give to it. The pool its being clean every morning. kitchen its open for use and the roof patio its lovely to relax, either for read or do yoga. The decoration of room its very modern and funished. Love the mattress and pillow. Able to get well relax at night. There has small beautiful garden at the Lodge to walk around. They have the knowledable taxi driver and we felt very fortune to be able to do tour with him. The Lodge its close to the beach, and easy access to shop and restaurant. Safe to walk around in the night. Thomas its lovely host. He solve problem efficently. Organize everything and pentient. Thanks him give us many places to visit and the delicious resturants. I definitly will go back again if I am in Zazibar again. Highly recommand it.
