The decor was quirky, fun and comfortable. Hilary was responsive to our needs.

A recently renovated holiday home, Bear Paw Cabin new construction near Yosemite offers accommodation in Mariposa. The air-conditioned accommodation is 48 km from Yosemite Arch Rock Entrance, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. Beaitiful interior and quiet location. The drive to Yosemite was not bad.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. I really loved that the room was very clean and furniture was brand new. The location is also good as it’s just 15 min driving distance from Inspiration Point (Emerald Bay). The price is very reasonable.

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly.

Great staff, great location and the rooms, gardens and hotel areas are really nice. A great place to relax and enjoy Tahoe. Close enough to easily get to restaurants but far enough out to give peace and quiet. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and thoughtful.

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. The room was spacious, the bed was ridiculously comfortable and it was dead silent at night so naturally deep sleep ensued and I woke up refreshed! I didn’t eat the breakfast so I am unable to comment but the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Only 7-8 mins drive to charming downtown Nevada City and a little further is Grass Valley.
