The host was lovely and helpful. The accommodation was almost on the Vennbahn cycle track (which we had come to cycle on). Shops near by. Very quiet and well equipped kitchen - well the whole house was well equipped actually. Good wifi. lots of parking. The owner let us keep our bikes in his garage.

Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Very friendly staff. Room and bathroom were very clean. Location is excellent, in the center of Raeren, with the possibilities to do excursions in the region

Friendly reception, the personnel is very friendly. The rooms are clean and there's a big choice of room sizes. The restaurant of the hotel offers a good choice of food and the meals are delicious.

For safety reasons people are not allowed to lock the first door, but you can lock the door inside. The toilet is independent from bath room. Good that the toilet is always not wet, but it's close to the first door, not inside the room.

Gut Kalkhäuschen was everything that we wanted for our stay in Aachen. The apartment was charming, cozy, and roomy with everything a person needs to feel at home. The beds were comfortable, the living room gemütlich, bathroom and kitchen were well organized with all amenities and everything was exceptionally clean. The garden is magical. After having a lovely evening with the family we understood that this business is truly an extension of their kind and welcoming natures. You will feel welcomed here.

The great freshly prepared food at the restaurant. The cook really has a passion for cooking. The relaxed atmosphere. Clean adequate room with up to date bathroom. Location is great for starting point of numerous hikes nearby.
