We were welcomed by the very friendly manager who showed us the place and our rooms, Very charming and historical old, yet refurbished, farmhouse overlooking the village and valley. We had access to a huge kitchen with everything needed to store food and prepare meals. If you cant be bothered to make your own meals its less than 5 minutes walk down to the Skjolden Hotel which has an amazing restaurant. Would absolutely recommend Eide Gaard.

Aside of amazing view of the fjord there's plenty of room space, good beds, pretty good equipped kitchen and so on ... It's really quiet and cozy place to be, not just another stay.
