Felt just like home :) very welcoming owners

I was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful location and friendly owners. Very roomy bedroom and bathroom, up to date good quality decor in a typical Austrian guest house. It was great to just be so close to the lake with fabulous views and easily walk to the lakeside for a swim. The "beach" is not sandy but you can enter via a ladder at the end of the little pier too.

The people were so good to us. Helped us in any way they could. Awesome

The place is very nice and clean, just next to lake, the host is friendly, we missed their message and come too early but they nicely let us in. We had a great time in there.

The location is exceptional. It is very easy to get to many attractions in the area. Very quiet. Access to the room was very easy. In the room we had everything we needed.Unfortunately, I didn't meet the hosts. I'm sure they are nice people.

This resort is absolutely incredible. The property is large, beautifully organized, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The staff is always there to help and make sure you have everything you need. Despite the size of the resort, it never feels overwhelming. Everything is designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. You can truly switch off, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and feel completely at ease. A wonderful place for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

We loved everything. - Breakfast and dinner were incredible. - The staff was super friendly and attentive. - The facilities and surroundings were amazing. - Room was very comfortable and with a balcony. - Bus stop right in front of the Hotel. - Every morning we got flyer with activities and food options.

A very comfortable room in the old Landhouse just next to the main hotel. The main hotel dining room and terrace has amazing views of the lake and mountains, and the buffet breakfast had all the delicious classics. The hotel has an incredible swimming pool and sauna/spa complex within its garden for use by guests. It is 5 mins walk into town. Frau Hollweger is charming and exudes Austrian hospitality. The whole hotel is comfortable, peaceful and classy.

We spent New Year's eve in this property, and few days after. It was much calmer overall then a lot of other places, which was appreciated especially by our dog. It is family run hotel, very family friendly, rooms are well appointed with traditional style. It was also cleaned daily and overall this property is very clean and looked after. Hotel is in the centre of St. Gilgen, 5 mins walk to the lake. Breakfast was lovely. It is like staying at friend's home, you can come to breakfast in your slippers, we enjoyed meeting fellow guests. We will return to enjoy the summer vistas, village and whole lake area are absolutely beautiful.

Accommodation: The room was spacious. There was a big bed, a corner with the couch and a terrace with 2 sun loungers. It was a very quiet room with a mountain (and only partial lake) view. And there was a prepared bag with additional towels for the pool! Everything was exceptionally clean. The room is equipped with external blinds on the window/door to terrace. The room has a movable curtain, covering the glass wall of the shower cabin - if you wish to know what is happening inside ;) Location: the hotel is located in the middle of the town. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the lake embankment or few more minutes to the public beach. It is surrounded by restaurants. Personnel: they are amazing! They speak German and English. And they are very helpful and friendly! Breakfast: it is great! It consists of different meat and cheese slices, vegetables, fruits and spreads. There was a variety of fresh juices. There were boiled eggs and scrambled eggs as well. Parking: they have their own territory for parking or they can provide you with an allowance to park on the public parking. Public parking is just 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Benefits: there is a sauna. There is even a pool on the roof with the amazing view!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is centrally located, right next to St Gilgen’s town hall and mere minutes walking from the lake. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The staff was very helpful, despite communicating only via messages and emails. Overall, a very positive experience!

It is a very good hotel in every way. The location, the cleanliness, the breakfast and the staff and especially the extraordinary lady host Gerda.

Location in centre of town. The size of the room was excellent with balcony sitting area and window seat. Owners and staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good with excellent restaurant - compliments to the chef. Beautiful small town right on the lake. Stayed 8 days
