Everything, from on our way to the interiors, exteriors, the location is breathtaking. Considering it was a summer season (July), the weather was really pleasant. The stream of the river/isar was soothing, and the smell of the trees around felt like we were part of nature. The staff were very hospitable , and it felt like we went back home to our parents' vacation home. Brigitt picked us up from the train station even if we arrived late, and she also dropped us back to the train station when we checked out. We loved the amazing hospitality of this lodging.

Tucked silently on a street with no traffic, surrounded by Alpine views, with meadows on the doorstep and a garden to laze in the sun, staring at the Karwendel peaks, this immaculately appointed ground floor apt is a wonderful stop, ideal for a cycling base or walking. We have a great time here, I recommend it for families as well. There are fantastic hiking spots in the area, but it’s worth being prepared for the many horseflies and taking measures to protect yourself against them.

If you want techno clubs and high fashion shops, its not for you. Hiking, mtn biking, ski/snowboard training at the airbag facility in the summer, skiing etc in the winter, horse riding, killer views, awesome cakes and perfectly aged meat, youll love it.

The design of the place is excellent. Both in style as in layout. The cool place to hang and dry your clothes. The spacious kitchen and the balcony with excellent sunchair. The bathroom has a great mirror and strong and warm shower. All together it was a great experience. There were complimentary drinks (non alcohol). The new tunnel makes Scharnitz bloom.

We booked two rooms, and the manager was so nice and organized two connected rooms, with a terrace in between. That was a bonus we did not expect, and we greatly appreciated it. The rooms were quiet, had nice views, and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and varied.

Our apartment was close to town and the station in Scharnitz. Great for self catering and there is a small supermarket nearby. Very comfortable with a balcony too. Elena , the host, was very attentive and helpful.
