I had to call the hotel ahead of time to advise that we were a late check in and a couple of hours later the hotel called to check in to see how we were travelling and to finalise the payment for the late check in. The staff were exceptionally friendly, pleasant, caring and were sure to wish us safe travels as it was the Easter weekend. I have not had such pleasant dealing with hotel staff in a long time and the team at this hotel should be proud of their excellent customer service and communication skills. I could not fault them. The free onsite car parking was a bonus and was easy to navigate. The hotel location was excellent for us as we came straight off the freeway and had to get back onto the freeway the next morning so this location was perfect.

Breakfast was just what we hoped it would be - not overly fancy, but with a good options. We had brought our own milk which we needed because we had both coffee and cereal. We had everything we needed to be comfortable for a one night stay. We loved that we were informed "no rush to vacate in the morning"! Loved the hammock and outdoor area. Couldn't believe how quiet it was.

A 5-minute walk from Mccauleys Beach in Wollongong, Southview Guest House features accommodations with access to a hot tub and spa facilities.

Terrific view, clean, comfortable, well-appointed. Hosts Neil & Leanne were welcoming & available. I’d better book for next year before word gets out about Southview! Walking distance to beach, a sweet little cafe with an excellent breakfast. Perfect.
