A wow factor when you drive from the street onto the property. A beautiful garden, an impressive house and such friendly owners. Like a trip back to the 1860s. I really enjoyed it there. Everything is available to prepare a light breakfast. A place to relax.

Stayed for the weekend & ended up booking for an extra day! Clean, tidy, great value for the price and the location is quite central to everything you might want/need. The host(Kal) is easy to talk to and easy going. Thanks for the great experience! Would definitely book again.

I like the room space it was beautiful.

I like the room space it was beautiful. The garden was beautiful as well. I saw some beautiful rabbits running around so I really enjoyed it. It’s a place of relaxing. Clear up your mind. I did not really explore the swimming pool because I wasn’t sure where it was. I just wished there was like some guideway to go. That would be more helpful but there was none of that though.

Burnbank was the most relaxing place , wonderful owners ,...

Burnbank was the most relaxing place , wonderful owners , fantastic pool, food,location and our ensuite room was the best with a spa and beautiful views of the magnificent gardens. I would definitely stay there again and also the price which included breakfast was very reasonable. I have already recommended Burnbank to friends and family, as we live in East Gippsland , it's a great stopover for a relaxing trip to melbourne.

We really enjoyed the cafes and restaurants in Berwick, lots of great options close by. The train was also nearby our accommodation and I was impressed by the new service. Fabulous new playground in Officer and close to Chadstone for inside play. Easy access to the Mornington Peninsula for larger adventures. We ate at the Berwick Springs Hotel (massive playground), YOMG (delish burgers), Row your Boat (fabulous fish n chips) and Bodega (awesome sandwiches).

It provided enough space , generous rooms , clean bathrooms Just need to be informed for the money or deposit that needs to be paid into an account by the owner before they provide a new code for the lockbox to get the key . That’s our only concern RE being informed and it been part of the booking process for other people leasing it .

It was a lovely, quiet and very beautiful old guest house.

It was a lovely, quiet and very beautiful old guest house. The room was heated with ducted heating and an electric blanket (perfect for icy Melbourne nights)! The property is about a 10 minute drive from local shops and the local licensed cafe/restaurant ‘The Hill’ (delicious Portuguese chicken and good wine selection). Pizza, subway, supermarket, liquor store amd several other shops. Public transport was available, but having a car was definitely the better option. Breakfast was a good selection of cerise, toast, fruit, eggs, yoghurt, and tea, coffee and juice. There was plenty to eat and the room also had a kettle, tea/coffee and a bar fridge. Big TV with free to air, in the room. The grounds were beautiful. I didn’t have time to explore, but will definitely be back to stay longer. Safe parking off-street. Barb and her husband were lovely and welcoming. They both obviously take great pride in their property. The only slight negative was that the clock alarmed several times outside my room, waking me up. But apart from that it was a really wonderful stay. I will definitely be back!!

I had a reason to be there. But it's a good location.

I had a reason to be there. But it's a good location. It's suburbia but still close enough to the edge. Wilson Botanical Gardens is a great place to walk around and there is some great eating places to be had.
