We love Bowen as it is just down the road from us. We chose to stay at Horseshoe bay carvan park as it is cheap and very close to the beach and cafe. Love the cocktails and food here!! We are dinner and breakfast at the cafe. We don't mind sharing bathrooms ( as we booked the Cabin Van). It's a life lesson for our boys in terms of travelling on a budget. Our Cabin Van was also down the bottom end ( beach) with a view of the beach this time!! When you are down the bottom the closest bathrooms aren't far - you just have to walk through a dirt car park.... not the end of the world. There is also only one shower and 2 toilets, but you can walk up to the main bathrooms if you prefer.

Original North Australian is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from Bowen’s beach and water park. Guests enjoy free WiFi and all rooms feature a patio with an outdoor dining area.
