Located in Katanning, Yellow Gum Bed and Breakfast features free WiFi throughout the property. This bed and breakfast offers a garden. The property provides a 12-hour front desk. Louise was a lovely host that met us at the door, she upgraded us to having the use of the sitting room and kitchen which felt homely and provided great breakfasts. If need this accommodation in the future would definitely use again
Located in Kojonup, Kojonup Bed and Breakfast has a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace. The property has a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Breakfast was great and so was the location. Loved the gardens and verandas. The black out curtains however couldn’t be fully drawn and there was a gap between the door lock and door
I love visiting country towns, especially those with the old buildings. Katanning has plenty of those and has done well to maintain their facades. I walked the two main streets window shopping and visited a few of the shops- Small Change (bulk foods, eco store and gifts - I highly recommend ! and the antique/op shop (a little expensive). Everyone was very friendly. The White Gum Cafe within the IGA came well recommended and didn't disappoint. Dinner was enjoyable at Dome with a glass of wine. The town did not disappoint in any way and I just wish I could've stayed longer. Day trips using Katanning as a base are very doable and on the cards at a later date. My accommodation was the Premier Mill Hotel in the centre of town, although a little expensive it was a wonderful stay there.
Enjoyed strolling through the shops etc, people on the street were very pleasant and talkative. Appeared to be tidy and quite clean. At the time of our visit was cold and we had miserable weather although the trip was still very pleasant. We stayed at the Premier Mill Hotel and ate at the Dome Cafe that is there. The Cordial Bar there was very unique and the staff were excellant.
interesting to visit....been there done that. Had we not had friends living in Katanning, probably wouldn't have come. Went to visit Lake Ew....? Followed gps and got no where other than locked gate onto a property...not a road??????????? That was a turn off for wasted hour there & back.
The Mill was a super place to stay. Pity the cafe wasn't quite up to what we expected. Overall though the hotel was delightful. Very clean & staff were efficient , attentive & pleasant. Particularly the concierge Nathan. Cheers .
Not a lot happening in Katanning. Everything closes very early and Saturday night finishes about 9.00 pm. Would be hard pressed to find anything to eat in the evening if you didn't feel like Asian food. Next time would probably only stay one night at hotel and move on to Denmark/Albany the second day.
Katanning is obviously struggling, so it was good to be able to put some money into the town. Premier Mill Hotel was the highlight of our short stay. Really sad to see the bushfire devastation just outside the town.

Amazing staff who tell you about the history of the building and make you feel welcome. Room was beautiful.
