The grand old home is now rented as large rooms for stays in Sydney, The system is well set-up and the services were quite well organised. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was adequate and not too busy with other guests.

The accommodation was very clean and offered plenty of space for two people to stay comfortably. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and they responded well to any requests. Located in North Sydney, reaching the city requires crossing the Harbour Bridge by train or bus, but the train station and bus stops are conveniently close, so transportation was easy. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sydney.

One of my favourite Hotels in Sydney! It was absolutely brilliant! The staff was very welcoming and the hotel was very clean. Although the room was a bit small, it was still very comfortable.They even give you a free coffee on checkout. I would rate the cleanliness 10/10. Despite being located next to busy roads and shops, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. I will definitely be visiting again.

They were very obliging. Friendly.

They were very obliging. Friendly. Breakfast inclusion was a surprise and it turned out to be very generous. Their restaurant was very good and had good value meals. It would be an advantage to have your own transport.

I was excited to be traveling 4.5hrs from country NSW to...

I was excited to be traveling 4.5hrs from country NSW to stay at Killara.But after I personally had a medical emergency I could not travel.I rang the hotel two days before my planned visit but they would not reschedule my booking by two weeks .They said I have lost my money . Very bad service and they should not be allowed on booking.com

A comfortable room and very clean.

A comfortable room and very clean. The desk space was next to useless. May have looked trendy, but was not functional. Could not get a roll away bed or a twin room, which was disappointing as we stayed for three nights. Shared a king size bed with my 22 year old son. More should have been done to accommodate our requirements. A good location for our stay - close to my elderly parents. A good stay but nothing exceptional or beyond basic.

Photos are extremely misleading and don’t show just how bad the rooms are. Staff aren’t on site and are extremely rude on the phone. How do you separate a house in to 9 rooms and a garage in to 3 rooms. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything in the rooms next door. The room I stayed in wasn’t a room. It was a corner of a conservatory. You will get eaten alive by mosquitoes as they haven’t bothered to get rid of the overgrown weeds everywhere. It’s more like a dirty hostel. The bathrooms are dirty with toothbrushes, toiletries and dirty underwear left behind by previous guests. Staff had decided to cancel my booking without informing me and double booked my room. I was woken in the middle of the night by a man that had been given the key code to let himself in while I slept. Staff first blamed booking.com for cancelling then tried to blame me by saying I had cancelled the booking. I would rather stay in a prison cell. I did not spend my last night there opting for a friends couch instead. These people should not be allowed to operate. Do not stay there.

We booked this property from Friday afternoon to Sunday. The Granny Flat was generally well presented and location was perfect for visiting around Killara and Lindfield. Killara train station is readily accessible at the end of the street. The Host met us onsite at the arranged time and gave us keys to the flat and a remote to the driveway gate. There was a full box of Weetbix and a long life skim milk in the fridge when we arrived.

After the Hotel was fully renovated in 2021, the changes are fantastic. Last stayed there in 2020 and it was rundown. Rooms, bed and amenities are very very good. The restaurant is lovely and I had a sensational cooked breakfast the next morning before my 5 hour drive home.
