We loved everything about Amberlyn Escapes from location to facilities and the hosts. The location was perfect for us busting family in Woy Woy and exploring the Central Coast region including being within easy reach of so many stunning beaches. The location is also so quiet what a pleasure to listen to the wonderful bird song, kookaburra included! The facilities and cleanliness are superb just what we were looking for. Mike and Jeanette were brilliant hosts, they were there when you needed them otherwise you would not know they were there. We would have no hesitation in booking again. In fact we tried for when we returned to the area after a couple of weeks away and we could not - they were fully booked!

Gorgeous setting, large grounds with well-kept gardens. Kind and welcoming staff with a great knowledge of the history of the site - book a visit to the little museum if you have time. Peaceful and rejuvenating. A beautiful church that you are able to spend time in. Multiple different areas for reading and reflecting or socialising. It is possible to spend the evening and only see staff - I was there while a large school group was also on-site but I saw or heard no evidence of them at all! I booked here on a whim after having a spare night at the end of a local visit. They have only recently starting having guests not on an organised retreat and I'm glad they did!

Kilcare beach is great for daily walk.

Kilcare beach is great for daily walk. The rock pool (near the surf club) in mid to low tide is perfect for children. Great walk from Putty Beach around to Maitland Bay. Hardy Bay Club and Empire Bay Tavern great eating places.

Place was not too hard to find, roads in the area are not...

Place was not too hard to find, roads in the area are not the best, steep and winding roads. Buy your food well before getting to Kilcare as there is not a real lot of choice locally. It is a very nice locality, plenty of walking tracks, national park. Actual accommodation is very good, bed comfy, clean, variety of breakfasts included. I would stay there again.

It was nice to explore the coastal bush walks in Boudhi forest. We walked from the Maitland Bay information centre to Maitland Bay, and then from there to Little Beach. It was a beautiful walk, but took us longer than we expected to get to Little Beach. It took about 3 and a half hours.

The place is beautiful. Mike is an exceptional host, caring and very communicative even during a weekend away. Most accommodating. It is an immaculate place and 60m from a community run 5 Star coffee van which was an unexpected bonus. There is an excellent bushwalk and lookout over the road. It is close to Bells of Killcare which is a ten minute walk. Mike also kindly left croissants and breakfast, including fresh milk, juice and fruit. If only every accommodation lived up to this standard. I hope to be back: 110%!

Killcare Beach House was exactly what we awere after. It was large enough for the 4 of us plus the dog. Phillip was very prompt to reply to questions and provide information. Well stocked kitchen is always a bonus and the beds were super comfy. Loved being able to walk to the beach and cafes - so close! The deck was lovely and big, unfortunately it rained while we were there so we couldn't use it as much as we hoped. The BBQ was clean and worked well. We had a lovely relaxing stay, just wish it was longer! Thanks

We had an absolutely lovely long weekend at Reverie, Liz was responsive, accomodating and generously provided some thoughtful extra touches! The place is beautifully decorated and the location was perfect - beautiful view of the sunrise/sunset across the lake and a 2 minute drive to Killcare beach, 10/10 would stay here again

We had a great time at Bells at Killcare. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room had its own fireplace as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The garden is very well maintained. The breakfast was great. We had a wonderful time and we will visit them again.

No Breakfast included but there are some cute cafe's in the area that are about 2km away, can walk or drive depending on what you consider walking distance. Great yard for the dogs, and killcare beach is dog friendly to.
