Was in a four bed dorm with ensuite. Really appreciated the privacy curtains on each bunk, and the reading light and plug by the beds. The place will well looked after and clean. Very nice for dorm living.

At Mooloolaba we enjoyed the short walks around the marina...

At Mooloolaba we enjoyed the short walks around the marina looking at the different cruise boats, little tables to sit at in the shade. Lots of shops down by the marina and a great little alcohol shop that was good value for money with friendly hosts. ( Not far from Sea Life). There were lots of amazing eating places, restaurants that had positive and happy vibes flowing from them. Such a cool place to visit. The beach was amazing. Had a great swim down by the surf club in between the flags. The sand is beautiful underneath your feet. Cool waves to body surf in. The water was very warm and not too salty. Lots of taps and showers to get sand off afterwards. We ate at the surf club, an amazing place with great food and location. We could get around Mooloolaba easily by foot, it was easier than trying to find a parking space. My husband and I are in our sixties and we enjoyed everything!

This was a short break to the coast for us, only 1hr away...

This was a short break to the coast for us, only 1hr away from home, so we know the area quite well. It's beautiful. We went midweek, outside school holidays. Fewer people, no queues. The area gets very busy in school holidays. There's a lot of building work going on but it didn't impact us. Surprised to find a cafe on the Esplanade that was really good - Backstreet Cafe.

Try the one hour canal boat ride.

Try the one hour canal boat ride. Booze on board at a cost, lovely captain and deck hand, beautiful location. I would recommend. The beach is beautiful, lots of eating and drinking options as well as shops. The wharf also has bars and restaurants

Mooloolaba is the jewel of the Sunshine Coast.

Mooloolaba is the jewel of the Sunshine Coast. It has a spectacular beach, good shopping and restaurants and a great Surf Club. Tip: join the surf club for $5 and immediately get 10% off your drinks and 5% off food. It will pay for itself very quickly.

We did the river cruise with seafood lunch. Very good. Went to SeaLife. Very enjoyable. Beach was great. The pool and spa at the Motel was wonderful. The meals at the Pub were very good and reasonable.

Loved the area, close to the beach, restaurant and cafes. Great walking track into Maroochydore to experience the local life of surfing and competition. Short drive to Australia Zoo and loved the experience of Whale watching.

We loved this place so much, it felt very well maintained and we liked the open hallways. The room was lovely, well furnished and laid out and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The balcony had a sea view but still felt private and got a lot of natural light. The facilities (spa, rooftop area) were amazing and it was such a convenient short walk to Mooloolaba beach and esplanade. It was also not a noisy (outside) area to stay based on the time we were there.

We had a great getaway here… our room faced the pool and canal which was very relaxing to look at. It’s in a great location and only about 5 minutes walk to the Mooloolaba esplanade where all the cafes and restaurants are. Also great to have our dog able to stay with us. Very comfortable. Tara was fantastic to deal with and answer all queries promptly. Would highly recommend.
