Truly a marvellous and highly unique and memorable little Hotel. The word quaint and rustic are bandied about an awful lot, but Eltham hotel is the real deal in this regard. You get a traditional pub, in a truly lovely unspoilt colonial building, with a handful of spacious and individually tastefully decorated rooms. I thought the food was very good, loves the zucchini starters and the deserts were something special. The main of chicken parms were tasty and filling. Matthew, the owner was warm and chatty, and the staff were all very welcoming. It’s also very family friendly. Ultimately, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed (no exaggeration).

It was in a great location super close to central as well as the university. It would be great for a long term stay as it has all the amenities you need for a long stay with such a comfortable bed, the shower was lovely and clean and the whole area is stylish and comfortable. The owners were lovely and helped me with any issues I had. It was super quiet and I had a great night sleep.

Super clean, welcoming and inviting. Great value, can only highly recommend this place. I loved the pool and the spa and the hosts are very nice. Short walk to Supermarket, bottle shop and take away food. Also a hairdresser and more in the direct vicinity. It's pretty special. 😊

Such a beautiful place to stay. The Honey Barn has a really calming atmosphere, with gorgeous interiors and plenty of thoughtful details. We loved soaking in the outdoor bath and enjoying the selection of organic teas. It felt completely surrounded by nature and was the perfect escape from the busy world. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge.
