For our road journey (Syd-Mel) this was the perfect location to stop off. The accommodation was excellent, clean with the onsite staff helpful. The town of Orbost had all we needed, with a beautiful park to walk around. Highly recommended and good value!

Clean and comfy. Everything worked. Decent heater (dropped to 2C the night I was there) This place is old school... no big square candles or dried flowers. But perfect for breaking up a road trip along the VIC/NSW coast. 5/10 min walk to the high street for a coffee/beer. Can highly recommend Bertie's burgers for dinner!

Snowy river homestead is situated in Newmerella. This bed and breakfast has a garden and free private parking.

A perfect location, with wonderful staff and service. We felt right at home straight away. Although we inly spent one night, we could have easily stayed a week. Clean, well eqiped accomodation. Great with the kids, seperate bedroom is a blessing. I would give it a tripple A rating.

This house exceeded our expectations. It's super spacious, offers amazing high-quality BBQ, and the bed linen was crispy clean and properly ironed. The bathroom was clean and brand new. The house overall was full of pleasant details (additional covers, books/games, TV with Netflix, spices). Many thanks to the hosts for letting us charge the EV, it saved some time on our road trip the next day.

Did not have breakfast. Very handy to the shops and hotel. Car parking good. As we are elderly women we would have liked a rail to hang onto when mounting outside steps. The only one there was broken. There was a loose slat on the outside steps. Lovely beds!

We got a warm welcome from the owner, Dan who showed us around the building and the property. His backyard is open to guests and surrounded by lush vegetation and a creek. Perfect for wildlife spoting. If you love birds, platypus, wombats, bandicoots, sugargliders and possums it is the place to be. It was a beautiful evening and morning accompanied by the many birdsongs around us. The queensize bed was comfortable and everything including the ensuit toilet, shower and even the little privat veranda was clean. Dan was a really nice guy, fun to talk to and even gave us a little wildlife spotting tour.
