From the moment we stepped on the inclinator we knew this place was going to be good. The Accomodation lives up to its name of being a 'Haven'. The views are absolutely stunning and it feels so peaceful and serene. I could have sat outside all day staring at the water. The facilities were perfect and the owners thought of everything we might need. The beds were really comfortable. The owners were so friendly and accomodating and we loved learning about how the house was built and information about the surrounding area. We definitely plan on coming back for another visit and take in the full surroundings.

Patonga is a small township located in the southern most...

Patonga is a small township located in the southern most part of the Central Coast of NSW. It is very peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful beach. There are no shops to speak of and the Hotel is the hub of the community. It is where we stayed and was very good indeed. A great holiday destination if you want to relax on the beach and swim, read a book, or go for walks etc. This is exactly what we wanted so it ticked every box. There is one road in via Umina, or a ferry service from Palm Beach. Favourite places were the beach, which is right across the road from the Boathouse Hotel which is where we stayed. The food at the hotel is excellent and it is undoubtedly the hub of the town. There are no supermarkets or general stores in Patonga - it is a small township.

I loved that it was a small community with little traffic.

I loved that it was a small community with little traffic. It was so peaceful and quiet. There is only one place in town to buy food (the hotel) and no supermarket so you need to be well prepared. Umina is not far away though so getting to a supermarket is not difficult. As the hotel is the lonely place in town where you can get a coffee it was disappointing to find it closed a lot of the time.

We loved it - our house The Cottage was right next door to the Pub amazing Host amazing location amazing house - fishing off the jetty - kids jumping off the wharf - lovely walk along the beach - brought limoncello at the pub and popped next door to our accommodation and sat by the pool we will be back
