After a very disappointing experience at the original accommodation that I booked and on very short notice the staff at La Vida managed to find us a room even though it was a very busy time of year .

Loved the spacious areas the amount of rooms and bathrooms were so accessible and accommodating. Beautiful daycore and design so lively and nice. Had everything we needed for our 2 night stay and 3 days. So close to shops, restaurants and cafes also the beach front and main street . A place perfect for big families and or several couples to share on a trip.

I think Redcliffe is underrated.

I think Redcliffe is underrated. It is an excellent location with a casual, laid back life style. Yep, the place is a little older than other more "trendy" areas in Brisbane/SEQ, but absolutlely worth visiting. You can't beat great dining, friendly staff, and an awesome climate.

The staff at Oaks Redcliff were so friendly and accommodating, when replacing our towels or face cloths the were so helpful. Even when my husband went down and they didn't have any on hand they brought it up to our apartment. The staff even help us with suggestions on places to visit. Loved the markets on the main street. The facilities were awesome, so good to be able to do washing when required, plus loved that a clothes horse was available and we were able to put this on the balcony to dry our clothes. Loved that there was a second toilet (as this became the toilet for the men only) Plenty of storage to hold groceries and snacks. The size of the dinning table was soooo good as it allowed us all to sit, each and talk. Parking was so easy. I highly recommend this place. The only downer was the restaurant below. order a rib eye steak and the steak was cooked to perfection, chips were nice and crunch but the salad was merely lettuces leaves and pepper, for $50 l expect tomatoes, cucumber and red onions.

This is a really beautiful spot located close to Brisbane city but with the feeling that your farther away. With the beachside location, Redcliffe is a very quiet place with great eateries (the Moreton Bay Boat Club is sensational), a beautiful lagoon and fantastic Sunday market. With the picturesque Scarborough an easy 4km walk to the left and Margate to the right, Redcliffe is centrally located to allow you to really embrace the beachside experience. Once you hit the bridge from the 'mainland', you feel as if you're on holiday - which we were!

Nice promenade and beaches.

Nice promenade and beaches. Cafes restaurants try Mamas and the Rustic Olive Sunday market. Good supermarket . Buses to station for city and major shopping malls. Art classes and other activities. Good parking. Lots of clubs for bowls tennis. Gyms. Easy access to Sunshine coast drives. Busy but felt safe. About 40 mins to airport outside of rush hour. Lots of other nice beaches nearby and the glasshouse mountains. Australia zoo too. Boat trips to islands in the area. Trains and buses cheap and on time. Nice climate.

We were up in Brisbane to celebrate my sister-in-law's 80th birthday so we didn't see much of Redcliff. However, Margate Beach was beautiful and the water was a lovely temperature for swimming. We did hire a car and that was really useful for getting around and visiting our family.

A lovely older, but beautifully renovated, unit in the heart of Redcliffe. Direct ocean frontage, as the name indicates. Comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Large, comfortable bed. Large rooms. We loved our stay here and will be back again.
