Renmark is a lovely town.

Renmark is a lovely town. It's situated on a beautiful stretch of the Murray River. It has a good range of shopping, especially at the shopping centre opposite Aldi. Check out the independent butcher there...you won't find better meat. Renmark has a terrific caravan park on the river. The Club is great, and the Paringi Pub, just before you cross the bridge into Renmark, serves really good meals. There's lots to do on the river and the golf course and golf club are great. Sitting down on the river bank , having a BBQ, trying to catch a fish, watching the ducks and pelicans is a great way to waste a few hours. Renmark is a truly nice place to visit.

Renmark is a well presented country town on the River Murray...

Renmark is a well presented country town on the River Murray. It has much to commend it. We found some exceptional shops (Yates Menswear: Dimples for women's fashion; Renmark club and Renmark Hotel), wide streets and well manicured gardens. We enjoyed a bowls carnival on the excellent greens at the Renmark bowling club. We also appreciated the street art and local hospitality,

Renmark was our destination of choice for a friends weekend.

Renmark was our destination of choice for a friends weekend. The riverside was lovely and well maintained for a pleasant walk. We were enjoying breakfast at Nanya and discovered there was a classic ski boat reunion on. We had a great time watching the boats together. We toured 23rd St distillery and Angove's wines both enjoyable. Food at Nanya, The Renmark Club and Renmark Hotel was lovely. Would visit again.

Lovely relaxing town to be in with great facilities for...

Lovely relaxing town to be in with great facilities for dining out or take away. Very clean and neat park areas altogether a very relaxing place to be. Food excellent in the Renmark Hotel (very short walk from Renmark Apartments where we stayed) and in The Renmark Club (immediately opposite our accommodation) Pricing very reasonable. Beautiful views over the river.

Great Art Deco style hotel, fabulous location.

Great Art Deco style hotel, fabulous location. Room was really spacious and well set up (we had a balcony room) at a pretty reasonable price. The proper restaurant was lovely - I had a delicious duck main - and the staff friendly throughout, especially at Reception and in the restaurant. The main/Sports Bar was good, with some excellent Happy Hour deals and meal specials, although the 'salad bar' was a bit sad - very limited. Would definitely stay there again if the price is right!

I arrived after a days touring from Swan Hill around 6pm.

I arrived after a days touring from Swan Hill around 6pm. I didn’t tour around Renmark much. I walked around d the foreshore, I read the plaque monument to the pioneer families. I also saw the mural painted on the back of Yates shop. Next morning I headed to Berri. I meant to visit Mr Chaffley’s house… next time I ate dinner and breakfast at the Renmark Hotel

Very special location on the Murray River. Views were amazing. 20 different species of birds, kangaroos and an emu on our doorstep. Sun setting was spectaculiar, quiet and very relaxing. 5 Minutes to Paringa Hotel. 10 minutes to Renmark. It was very warm but hey that's our summer why would you want it to be cold :)
