Fabulous stay / experience for anyone who loves animals. We were greeted by the Kangaroos on arrival :) My daughter was in her element. The Emu introduced itself by tapping on the Kitchen widow and in the morning we got to meet Molly the Wombat and several of the young Koalas. It made for a really lovely and memorable stay on our Ocean Road journey. Thank you Kirsty.

A very small country town servicing the surrounding farmers...

A very small country town servicing the surrounding farmers and dairies. The hotel provides the focus of the town - country folks , large dining room with excellent food. A good base to explore the Otways, the 12 Apostles and the Epicure trail

Near beautiful parkland.

Near beautiful parkland. Had to watch out for native wildlife. A koala came to side of the road but I was able to go around. Simpson has a well known speedway (though well out of town) which is also very popular so pick your times carefully to ensure accommodation available.
