Walhalla is absolutely worth visiting - for the history but also the natural beauty of the valley. Especially when you see what it looked like during the gold rush days. Glad that we added it to our tour. Some great walking options and the mine tour was very interesting as well. Lee Manor is a perfect place to stay and just matches the historic charm of the town .And you can happily just spend time on the deck and enjoy the view, the wildlife and the quietness.

The property was so clean and cosy. We loved our stay even though it was short and sweet. The back gate access to a lake and a nice nature walk was amazing for the kids to burn off some energy. It also made for a nice quick drive for our Baw Baw adventures the next day. Host was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We will def be returning for more family adventures. Lovely house with great facilities and beautiful views. Chickens & deer were fun & we loved collecting eggs for breakfast ! The jacuzzi was a real treat.

We had a fantastic stay at Mel's charming farm a couple of weekends ago. The communication from Mel before we arrived was exceptional. Her detailed instructions helped us navigate the area and made us feel right at home. Mel took the time to show us around the beautifully presented farmhouse, which was aesthetically pleasing and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The cozy living space, comfortable furnishings, and lovely decor created the perfect ambience for our retreat. What made our visit unforgettable was Mel’s hospitality. She ensured we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was when she introduced us to her farm and her delightful flock of sheep, including the friendly Bently and the special Bozzo. We were thrilled to engage in hands-on experiences, such as feeding the sheep and trying our hand at being shepherds for a bit! 😉 The scenic beauty of the farm, with its sunsets and starry night skies, complemented by the surrounding horses and cattle, created a serene atmosphere that was incredibly refreshing. We wholeheartedly recommend Banjos Farm to anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable escape into the countryside. We cannot wait to return!
