There are lots of short car trips that are interesting...

There are lots of short car trips that are interesting around the area. We found a few good restaurants such as the nursery cafe near the Warwick Motel which is open for breakfast and lunch, the Chung King Chinese restaurant and The Cherry Tree cafe which is open for breakfast and lunch. Next time we want to go to the Darling Downs zoo.

Great shops. Had everything.

Great shops. Had everything. Only spent one afternoon but had a quick look around. Loved the shop where you could buy Ariat boots, bags and clothing, and the lady was lovely to chat too also. Had other lovely clothes shops too. The information centre guys were lovely to chat to also. It's in the town centre which was strange, but great nevertheless.

Physco Suzie was a great place to meet up and have a meal .. we also loved the pilton zoo .best zoo I have been to in ages . The warwick rsl had good food .. a bit pricey for a rsl .. but a kids play room and good service. Not a lot for kids to do .they need a play centre like bounce or similar. Mini golf maybe .. water play events perhaps at the dam?

The town had plenty of places to go out for dinner.

The town had plenty of places to go out for dinner. We went out to the local chinese restaurant, which had authentic chinese decore (they just needed some background music) with tasty food and plenty of it. We arrived late afternoon so didn't have a lot of time to look around before dark but the town was a decent size, so plenty of options.

We were there for the Hyundai N Festival and didn't have...

We were there for the Hyundai N Festival and didn't have much time for sightseeing but the town was well equipped with shopping mall and plenty of cafes. People were friendly and made us feel welcome. We visited the waterfalls which were reasonably close to town and very scenic.

I really enjoyed looking at the old buildings - there is a lot of history there. We had a great breakfast at Warwick's Gardens Galore, and of course I bought plants and enjoyed looking at all the other merchandise.

Very comfortable bed. Even came with microwave, toaster and eating utensils, and of course tea, coffee facilities. Spacious room. Horse and Jockey Hotel for dinner 5 mins walk around the corner. Will stay again if near Warwick.
