Lovely place to stay.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful little places to eat, and a few pubs for drinks! But nothing close by to do or experience, although if you're willing, you can drive to other surrounding areas!

Great town and lovely friendly people.

Great town and lovely friendly people. There is delicious food, wine and beautiful countryside... What more could you ask for! We loved Hugh Hamilton, Ortus, Mollydooker and Lloyd Brothers as our standout wineries. Really lovely staff, delicious cheese boards or snacks and each venue had its own special atmosphere. And really welcoming to kids!

Hosts were excellent with communication and were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, close to pubs and eateries, shops etc. Room was clean and comfortable and the freshly baked bread and breakfast cereals etc was great.

We enjoyed going to the Farmer's market .

We enjoyed going to the Farmer's market . We ate out at the Old Bush Inn where the food was good and there was a happy atmosphere. We also had lunch at the Golden Fleece which was very good, again with a happy atmosphere. In general Willunga has a good character with older stone buildings, attractive gardens and friendly people. Use of the local slate is an interesting feature of the town.

It was a quiet little gem, full of charm, there are a couple of local hotels with good counter meals, bakery etc. Everything is within walking distance if you just want to relax and explore around town.

The cabin was beautiful, clean and modern with all the extra touches that make a stay special. Willunga was a charming village and so close to great local wineries and the ocean…..only sorry we couldn’t stay longer, definitely disappointed to leave and looking forward to a return visit!
