GermanyThat place is unique - you arrive and you can’t stop stunning and watching. Situated on a top of a hill the view around is amazing, animals are around and lots of green hills and valleys, but while walking around it’s a second discovery journey, because there are many place to rest and enjoy, swings which invite to relax, and, lots of self-made art projects where my phantasy isn’t able to find words. The room is made with love - so many details, bed more than comfortable and the balcony awesome. In the morning parrots come and you can watch them out of your bed, and, the owner also put corn for them in your room, so we felt free and fed them. Breakfast is also great, different bread, juice, …. For us that place was magical and we relaxed and calmed down totally. We recommend this B&B if you need a break of all the rush and hurry which is surrounding us. Margret created a place to stay and hopefully you take her invitation and can feel what we felt !

We were attending a funeral and all needs with the facilities and cabin. We are very familiar with Wodonga/Albury and the North East townships. If we need to come back we will stay longer at your park and take in the region for a get-away holiday.

Wodonga is the more upmarket side of the NSW/Victoria border...
Wodonga is the more upmarket side of the NSW/Victoria border. It lacks much in the way of heritage, with only the old railway station (now a trendy cafe area) as any real form of architecture. Albury is a bit more heritage-minded, although not the most pleasant of towns overall, with something of a rough reputation compared with its Victorian twin.

We loved Wodonga, so clean, quiet and peaceful.
We loved Wodonga, so clean, quiet and peaceful. We visited Bonegilla Migrant Experience which was very interesting. Traced back my dad's first few months when he arrived in Australia in 1952. We mostly ate in Albury (10mins drive) and the restaurants were plenty. A few nice ones in Wodonga but a lot were closed as it was over Xmas/New Year. We will probably go back there in the near future. Our trip to Beechworth was lovely, packed full of people, had a nice vibe to it.

Wodonga is becoming a very bustling town with more shops to cater for a variety of age groups. There are quirky and eccentric eateries to explore, a short drive to the Victorian Alps which are breathtaking in any season. If you can't find anything in Wodonga, then it is only a short drive over the border to Albury.
The drive out to the Hume Weir does not take long and you can visit the wineries in the Wahgunyah/Rutherglen areas which is about 20mins away.
We ate at Edwards Tavern as well as Burger Urge and Close Collective Cafe. This cafe gives back to the community and both the service and the food is exceptional.
Wodonga is a town that has something to see and visit within a short distance so I love visiting there as often as I can.

Excellent location and staff were amazing.
Excellent location and staff were amazing. I travel to Wodonga to visit family and have stayed at many different hotels, this one is the best. I would only stay at this hotel in the future. Very happy with everything.

There is a lot to see around Wodonga and it is a good place...
There is a lot to see around Wodonga and it is a good place to set up to explore the rest of the area, there are a lot of places to see that are within a days drive everything from winery, to fishing or just chilling out, there are a lot of very different types of places to eat from classy restaurants to takeaway places,

We only stayed for one night, but the room was more than adequate for our limited stay. The beds were warm and comfortable; all the usual facilities you would expect in a hotel were there. Even though the hotel is near the main road we weren't bothered by any traffic noise. The staff at the reception were very friendly and efficient. We had breakfast delivered to the room and it was very nice. There is a hotel right next door, so we just strolled and had dinner which was very nice and convenient. I can recommend the roast of the day.

It was on a hilltop so the views of Wodonga and surrounds were stunning. The house and gardens were full of character, sculptures, antiques and historical memorabilia. (Also 12 beautiful chickens)The host was warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and intend to return.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The other thing I particularly liked was they hotel supplied a second towel for drying your hair. Not many properties do this and it was fantastic to be able to wrap my wet hair up.
