The round house, sea side bar & Atlantis great places to eat. There is nothing around there so if you don't rent a car a taxi is good Valance is with the Sea U and he is GREAT!! very reasonable with prices, he showed us the whole island! Average was $37 Barbados $$$.....he'll Also pick you up at the airport if you let Sea u know. 😎
The beach views were awesome. the local cuisine was amazing thanks to the friendly staff at dina's restaurant. The bus service is great with services costing USD $1 going to and from two of the islands major towns (Bridgetown and speightstown) there's swimming and hiking the nature trails. Bathsheba is also great for surfing.
This is a beautiful area. Very peaceful and laid back. You can buy provisions at the shop up the hill. A car is a good idea for this. There are buses which can take you to Bridgetown and other locations. It's the perfect place for relaxing ,watching the surfers and strolling along the beach.
Stayed at Atlantis Hotel which was right on the water; breakfast was included which was very good; friendly staff; not that easy to get around; you need to rent a car; you can take a bus however they only run every 2 hours.
Bathsheba is in a beautiful area with stunning coastal scenery - especially the road north up to the north point. It's a traditional village and both it and the east coast are not at all commercialised. You need a car to explore it and other parts of the Island - but you shouldn't miss it. Limited places to eat include: the Round House, Atlantic hotel, and a couple of beach bars/cafes. Peace and tranquillity are there in this uncrowded haven.
Just stopped in for a night as part of a longer stay in Barbados as we had seen Bathsheba before during the day but wanted to experience it for longer. Very little goes on in Bathsheba in the evening but that was part of the charm, and we turned in early so we could get up and watch sunrise - absolutely worth it, totally stunning view!
