The view is so stunning additionally the rooms are so up to date! This place is a place that I would visit again! When checking they are so friendly additionally they have taken steps to ensure that you are safe. The restaurant had some really good food and they give you enough information about places you can visit for more food. Listen you will not be disappointed when you stay here! Lastly, it was a bit chilly on the weekend I visited but the infinity pool just tops off a really great stay!
Great location. Very near Belmont ferry that takes you into Hamilton from where you can catch buses or Ferrys to other places on the island. We celebrated our Golden wedding anniversary and ate at a resturant called Blu with stunning views over the sound. Mickey's and Gibbs lighthouse resturant were also very good.
The Sandpiper was ideally located to both Dockyard and the town of Hamilton. The #7 bus runs to most of the best beaches on island along with favorite eatery's such as Woodys, Swizzles, and our favorite Country Squire! HorseShoe beach is very nice with all amenities but it gets packed with boat people, we preferred Elbow beach with its huge uncrowded sands. There are many beach enclaves to explore on island if you have time! Everyone goes to Swizzle Inn, but the locals know Woodys and our favorite The Country Squire! Getting around by bus is erratic right now and they are trying to sort it out as they changed up schedules but you can't beat bus/ferry pass it's a must! Cabs are expensive and mopeds... well ther mopeds and the roads as narrow as they are should be left to the professionals !But all said Warrick Parish is positioned very central in its location.
We absolutely loved the whole island. The scenery, history and people were really fantastic, and the beaches are some of the most attractive we have seen. Try the bus system- surprisingly convenient/safe and colorful! The old railroad trail is really beautiful in many spots. Some areas are a bit quirky, but we walked/jogged every day and there are lots of friendly people out doing the same. Centrally located so we could get to other spots on the island within 20-30 minutes. Many great meals, but one of our favorites was Portofino Italian in Hamilton.
Safe area close to a couple of restaurants. The Swizzle Inn was a fun place to grab dinner and a couple drinks. Not a lot to do at night and shopping in the area is non existent, but plenty of beaches nearby for daytime fun. Short drive to all the south shore beaches. Horseshoe Bay, Elbow Beach and Church Bay are must see and are all nearby. Right on the bus line which makes getting around very easy. Actually wish we had spent more time in the area than we did.
