I went to this hotel to rest and be out of the city, use the sauna and jacuzzi. It was so beautiful and well kept and the staff were super professional.
Super loved chatting with the receptionist Angel who knew English and was very helpful.
I also got there late at night and it was no problem.
Breakfast selection was good, had bolivian meat cheese and bread but also western selections.
Also right beside a beautiful park to go walk around.

La Paz is a place like no other. The city of the skies with the main mode of transport being just that. Extremely efficient impressive cable car system. A vibrant place, full of culture, local tales and customs.
Great souvenir shops with quality goods. Stunning textiles and crafts. Friendly people..As a woman walking around on my own I felt completely safe . Zero hassle from men. Highly recommend a trip to the Moon Valley. If you forget any hiking or mountain wear don't worry there are dozens of trekking shops.
Grab a delicious cheese sandwich from a street stall. The bread here is delicious and high-quality.

La Paz is a great city to visit.
La Paz is a great city to visit. It's breathtaking, and I mean that literally. Situated at about 3600 meters you will have trouble breathing if it's you are not aclimated to altitude.
The telefericos are great to get a view of the city and explore the neigborhoods. I'd recommend doing a walking tour and learn as much as possible about the prison. It is self regulated by the prisonners. You can meet crazy Dave at 1pm everyday for a story about it as hes lived inside for about 16 year.
Lots of activity to do. Coca museum. Death road by bike (I recommend the agency baracuda they are very profesionnal). Mercado. Cholita's WWE :).
I'd recommend skipping valle de la luna to do valle de las animas instead. It's a 4-6 hours walk and it's really nice.
And many others things...

I appreciated the convenience of having the museums clustered together in easy-to-navigate areas. Although some climbing was required, I quickly got used to it after the first day. I stayed in the Centro, closer to Sopocachi. Finding great food, regardless of budget, was easy, with many of the best places near El Mercado de las Brujas. I walked everywhere but did not venture into Zona Sur, which I plan to visit next time. The Teleférico was an excellent way to navigate the city and enjoy its best views. I relished the history, art, and kindness of Bolivians (and paceños) who were eager to help and ensure a pleasant stay in their city. I am going back. Having local currency for expenses is better, although some places accept credit cards. American Express is not widely accepted; I couldn't find a single place that received it. I managed with my Apple/Mastercard.

It was really lovely to walk the streets of the city, although I walked without going in a particular destination. The most interesting thing was the teleferico system, very neat, clean and simple to use, as well as cheap.

I liked the “tourist quarter”, riding the cable cars, Killi Killi viewpoint,
Day trips to Laguna Charquini and Chacaltaya. Eating out, no bad experiences. My hotel was convenient for ATM’s down Main Street, close to tourist quarter where you can test your altitude acclimatisation walking up the braes and call in to one of the many tour agencies to book a trip. I did Tiwanaku tour and suffered from informational overload - the guide gave us so much info I feel I could have passed an examination the next day!

La Paz is a big city with a lot of people and many homes.
La Paz is a big city with a lot of people and many homes. It has a high altitude, recommend altitude pills. The city has varying heights, for instance you are going up and down a mountain to get to the other side of the city. When you are on top you can see the bowl with many many houses. There is a cable car to take you from the bottom of the mountain and one neighborhood to the top of the mountain to another neighborhood. There are several beautiful landscapes in La Paz. Valley of the moon, valley of the souls, etc... There is also a lot of shopping in the city.
The hotel is a boutique hotel so it has a super nice decoration and structure.
Our room was super spacious (the staff was kind enough and gave us a room upgrade). It has a good cleaning and a heater for the colder days.
We are traveling by motorcycle and the staff was super kind and let us park the bike inside the hotel at the backyard.
In general is a very good hotel for the Bolívia standards.
clean rooms
hot shower with good pressure
it was not cold, but there are extra heaters if you need
good breakfast with fruits, joghurt, bread, juice, jam, butter, coffee, tea
very good location with restaurants and everything you need near by, witchers market just a few minutes
very good pizza near by - pizzeria „mozzarella“ was very good
laundry service in the hotel for 15 Bolivianos/Kilo
Probably the best hostel in La Paz. Very comfortable and clean, and not too busy so you might have the whole dorm room to yourself. The breakfast is nice, a bit basic but you can always upgrade it for a few Bolivianos. You can eat on the terrace with a wonderful view of the city. Great laundry service. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast was excellent. the staff was ready to prepare a wonderful omelette or a superb fruit salad.
The hotel is part of an old fransiscan monastery and is full of colonial and bolivian history.
The staff is really welcoming. Since our bus was only departing at night, we are allowed to wait in the hotel.
Great location, all sites were walkable. Elegant, traditional style hotel set around 2 patios. Very helpful and happy staff, English spoken. Good breakfast, Cafe Banais attached, delicious cake. We have rebooked for our last nights in Bolivia.
